The MOM Environmental Demonstration Project exemplifies how individuals can make positive contributions to the environment. It will release cleaner water into our river, teach the community how to positively impact our environment, and serve as a model for neighborhood families.
As a result of the work of several community volunteers, the Greenspace has been divided into three zones: pervious concrete parking lot, a rain garden, and recreational learning site. This space will be used as a teaching tool for both the MOM students and the community as a whole. The MOM environment Demonstration Project provides students with a high quality education enrichment project combining the green space with their classroom's intensive curriculum.
